Food was good. Service was slow. In the future I'll order take out instead of going inside.
This place is incredible! Had the Baked Spaghetti, it was awesome! Huge portion, fresh salad bar, good sweet tea. Was a little disappointment with garlic bread, but not enough to complain. Will be back soon!
Salad bar is always amazing. Wait staff goes over and beyond. Pizza is outstanding!
The broiled chicken and rice is exceptional! Pizza is great! Chicken strips and fries are delicious as always! Great service and great prices!
Great food, great service and people.
On business in the area and my son and I stopped in for lunch. We had about an hour to kill due to being early for an appointment. We ordered a Cesar salad, two waters, chicken pita, and a cheese steak pita. The salad came out and was good but 50 min later our sandwiches still hadn’t arrived and tables around us were still waiting on food. My waitress came up an informed me it would be another 10 min and I told her not to worry about it. They charged me 9$ for a Cesar salad and water. I should have refused to Pay. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
Friendly and fast. Fresh food and salad bar
The best pizza around this area and it's right off the interstate.
Fantastic food. Wonderful people. Great time.
Delish food. Great variety. Try the baked spaghetti, burger, chopped steak, pizza (meat lovers 💜) .... All good! Heads up, don't be surprised by the unique vintage decor. The wait staff are friendly and provide good service. Please be patient if you visit at a busy time. They have a good take out customer base and can get a little behind, but the food is worth the short wait!
great salad bar and although I didn't get a pizza the ones I saw coming out of the kitchen looked fabulous! This place was very busy so don't come here if you are in a rush. I had the fried shrimp with onion rings and it was delicious, crunchy and reasonably priced. We would definitely visit again
I love their pizza, food and service but tonight, Valentine's, was a complete disaster. Clearly the mass amount of take out orders screwed the dine in customers. We waited ONE HOUR after finishing our salads for our easy prep chicken parm and fish to be brought to our table. When I finally said something to the hostess manager, she said she told all take out orders it would be one hour. She didn't tell her guests as they were seated. I watched and others who arrives at same time as we did had similar wait and experience. I believe our ticket was the only 1 that was lost tho. Did we get offered any apologies. No. The romantic dinner we chose to spend with them was already ruined.
Very expensive salad bar- $7 for this? The pizza crust and cheese were good but the sauce tasted like Spaghetti O's and it was not a good combination. The ranch dressing was amazing and my son are thee bowls of vegetable soup
Long wait for the food to come out and all the food came out at different times! The pizza was over cooked. When I said something about the time it was taking. The lady that was serving us Belittle my comment as if I was supposed to expect this type of service since they were busy. The only reason they got 2 stars is that they cut my bill in 1/2!The toppings came off as soon as I picked the pizza up.
Angel is the BEST server. Their food is always exactly right and super yummy! Great service. Friendly atmosphere.
Love this place one of the best sit down restaurants in Manchester. They have amazing pizza and they also have their own signature cheese steak sandwich which is also awesome. The only complaint I have is the hours they close a little earlier than most places and they stop accepting to go and dine in customers an hour before closing time.
Best pizza in Manchester and it really isn't even a contest. Recommend their Hot Pig pizza.
This place has the coolest, kitchiest, medieval theme. Big fake torches on the wall, dark paneling, lots of red, and a cool ass chandelier. I will offer a spolier tho, the bathrooms are the plainest, whitest, bathrooms ever. :( The soup and salad bar is so good. Salad bar is really nothing super special except that EVERYTHING was FRESH. It makes a huge difference. The soup was really awesome (chicken noodle the night we were there) and the smells from the grill made me want to order some of everything. Prices were totally reasonable and the servers were extremely friendly without being irritating. We were here for dinner while on vacation and would definitely do it again.
Great family restaurant with salad bar. From pizza too steak, they have what you want. Gluten free pizza as well!!!
Great food, great people, and great service. ☺️💜👍
Top notch food and service. Good friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Had the philly cheese steak and onion rings. The onion rings cost extra but were amazing and worth it. Still less than 10 dollars. The cheesesteak was tender and delicious. The staff was awesome and happy to bring me horseradish sauce for my sandwich. They make the sandwich then put it in the oven which melts it all together and toasts the bun.
Food took forever, there was only four other families in the restaurant but still took us 40 minutes to get food. It was hot in there, too. Just ceiling fans running!!I won't be back!
One of the best places we've found while traveling. Great tasting food, awesome prices, perfect service.
Best pizza in coffee county for sure...since I've tried their pizza I don't care for any others....salad bar is a hair pricey but service is usually excellent
Food was tasty!.(pizza, of course!)
Perfect pizza and service! We are definitely eating here more before returning home from our trip.
Clean and great food. The staff is a little younger so you have to ask for refills but the food comes out hot and fresh. Reasonable prices we will return
Parking lot is always busy so we tried this restaurant. The cod was wafer thin and greasy. Baked potato wasn't cooked all the way through. Blue cheese dressing was of a thin viscosity and didn't taste like blue cheese. We brought a pizza home & had to throw it in the trash it was so awful. Service was great.
Everything is wonderful. There is no bad choices
Good food. Accommodated a large party.
Nasty and overpriced. I've had better spaghetti out of a can. Everything is way overpriced for the low quality you get. I don't know how they stay in business.
Attempted to eat there a little before 9. Rather than seating us, Hostess spent several minutes explaining that we needed to order before 9, closing time. (Hours on the entrance said open until 9:30, but oh well.) As we were about to leave the hostess said she would seat us. So we sat. And waited. And waited. My wife heard a couple servers arguing about which one would wait on us (No, they weren’t vying for the honor), so we left. The hostess seemed shocked. Astoundingly we were able to find another place to eat. A few years back I called ahead to make sure they had gluten free crust for my son. They said they did, so we went, were seated, and ordered. Then, after 20 minutes, they informed us they were in fact out of gluten free crusts. I’ve actually had a couple good meals there, but I expect to at least get something to eat every visit, so I’m done with this place.
All of the food is Awsome and you get such big portions. No one should leave here hungry. All the employees are wonderful
love the pizza but did not get my ranch and now I have to use.hidden valley and it sucks
Normally this would be a 5. We always get a pizza, large house special. This time we got shish kabobs. They were over cooked and tough. We couldn't eat more than 1/2 of it. It will be awhile before we go back. You have to pay full price to get a salad bar with a pizza. Pizza is s full meal for 2 people we get a large house special. We were very disappointed..
1970's decor crunchy pizza crust. Casual atmosphere friendly service.
Under the same ownership since 1973 and still going strong. Good home cooked meal and great salad/soup bar.
This place has great food. I ordered the barbeque chicken pizza. It was hot, made fresh, and delicious. The waitress was really nice and kept our drinks filled. At least three people thanked us and told us to come back as we were leaving.
If there’s a better pizza in town, I haven’t found it. All jokes aside, my family and I have been eating here since 1979. The food and service are great and the prices are very reasonable. My favorite dish is the J&G special with a side order of shish kebab and fries. The menu continuously offers a variety of entrees to choose from and the dine-in atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. Fun fact: J&G opened its doors in 1973. It has always been family owned and operated. During these years, J&G has thrived! To just survive in a small town is an achievement. Their success is mainly due to the family’s hard work ethic and passion. J&G is a proven leader in the food-service industry. On a side note, the J&G family generously gives back to the community in which it serves. Thank you!
Great service. Very friendly staff. Pizza is really good.
The goal was to find a Small Town Diner and we had the money on this. Drawn to it off the side of the road with its flashing lights J & G's Pizza and Steakhouse sounded pretty good. Once you walked in we were greeted by not only the service but also guess that we're leaving. Definitely a small Southern town feel. Once you walk in the decor and the interior design is something else. Almost out of a children's book the walls are decorated with what seems to be a Viking theme and definitely a pleasant surprise. Service and food was great. It seem to be a very popular local restaurant as locals were coming in and getting take out often throughout our visit . Great experience overall.
This place is cool, and has soup! Not many places have soup, so thats important to mention. Salad is also there (next to the soup), and the pizza is pretty good. The bathrooms are out of the way, but sometimes are clean. The decor inside is really strange, so don't look at the walls. Okay place, good soup.
Very accommodating for our very large family. J&G Always finds space for us. Their pizzas are delicious !!!!
Great handmade pizza! Fresh and beats those big restaurants anyday!
The shish kabobs are absolutely amazing! Service is very friendly as well. We order take-out from them often. I appricate them wrapping the food in foil to keep it warm as we live about 15 minutes away. Great place!
Carolyn has countlessly ruined my experience. Ordered 3 entrees, 2 appetizers, and 2 pizzas and was charged for extra ranch and told “you don’t get anything more than you ask for. Sorry”. Love the food and prices are great. I’ve been going since I was a kid but can’t decide if I’ll be back due to Carolyn.
Called and ordered 2 steaks and a pizza...they gave me the 2 side salads but only one steak that had virtually no seasoning (which is totally fine with me) and it was closer to med well than med rare as requested
Good pizza but nothing to get real excited about but their salad bar and homemade soup is great. I haven't tried their steaks but others say they are really good.
This is a great restaurant. Good food and even better service. My only advice is don't go on a Sunday it's super busy!
